Dear Parents and Family members,

We survived the first week of school!!! We have had so much fun getting to know each other and learning about the rules of our classroom. The children have been so eager to learn and they have caught on quickly to all of the procedures we have learned throughout the week! I am excited to be able to implement our procedures into the rest of our school year so that we can have a happy, safe and productive learning environment! Most of all....I am already so in love with each child in my class!!! They have each stolen a place in my heart and I am so excited to see them learn and grow! I can't wait for week 2 to start! Thanks for sharing your children with me!

Twas the Night Before Second Grade

'Twas the night before 2nd grade and all through the class,

Everything was in its place, including the Hall Pass;

The desks were arranged by the teacher with care,

In hopes that the students soon would be there; 

 Pencils, pens, crayons, and books of all kinds,

Are ready to help mold 23 little minds.

School starts tomorrow!
